  • 2 cups Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Citric Acid
  • 1 1/2 cup Coconut Milk Powder
  • 1/4 cup Epsom Salt
  • 3 tbsp Castor Oil
  • 1 tbsp Almond Oil
  • 2 tsp Polysorbate 80
  • 2 tsp Lavender Fragrance Oil
  • Colorant Pink
  • Rose Petals

Instructions

  • Gather all of the necessary equipment needed to create these rose and coconut milk bath bombs.
  • Measure and sift the baking soda, citric acid, and coconut milk powder, place them in a mixing bowl together, and stir the ingredients together.
  • Next, measure the castor oil and the almond oil and stir them together.
  • In a separate bowl measure the lavender fragrance oil and polysorbate 80 and combine and stir them together.
  • Pour all of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and start mixing the mixture with your gloved hands.
  • Once the mixture feels damp and can hold its form take half the mixture and put it into a separate bowl.
  • Now add several drops of fushia liquid coloring or mica into half of the mixture. Using your gloved hands mix the colorant into the bath bomb mixture.
  • Next, place several rose petals into the bottom of the mold.
  • Now begin filling half the mold with the bath bomb mixture and alternate between the two colors.
  • Fill the other half of the mold using the same alternating technique. Overfill the mold slightly.
  • Push both sides of the molds together and now gently pull the mold apart, revealing the round bath bomb.
  • Let dry for 24 hours before using.
