Gather all the needed ingredients and essential tools for making this pink clay face mask.
With a digital scale measure, 90 grams of distilled water, 4.5 grams of glycerin, 15 grams of avocado oil, 4.5 grams of emulsifying way NF, and 3 grams of stearic acid, and set all ingredients aside.
Next measure 21 grams of pink clay and 6 grams of hibiscus powder.
Combine distilled water and glycerine in a beaker or heat-safe bowl together and stir.
In a different beaker or heat-safe mixing bowl mix combine the avocado oil, emulsifying wax, and stearic acid.
Prepare a water bath to warm up both containers that contain your ingredients.
Once all of the ingredients are melted and near the same temperature remove both beakers from the heat source.
Now, pour the oils and emulsifier contents into the beaker that contains the water and glycerin and stir vigorously.
Using an immersion blender, begin blending the mixture. Blend for 2 to 3 minutes then let the mixture thicken up between blending until you have a lotion-like consistency, which is not your face base.
Measure 1.5 grams of vitamin E, 1.5 grams of rose hipseed oil, 1.5 grams of lavender essential oil, and 1.5 grams of preservative (optiphen) and mix each of them into the face base separately. Make sure to mix in each ingredient separately and stir.
Begin adding in the hibiscus powder in small amounts and stirring manually or use a whisk to blend the powder into the face base.
It's now time to begin adding the pink clay to the face base in small amounts.
Add the clay mask to a small container to use on your face and body.
