DIY WHIPPED SUGAR SCRUB RECIPE FOR GLOWING SKIN

This is the easiest and creamiest DIY whipped sugar scrub recipe you will ever make. It skin will be soft, glowy, and delightfully scented. It's a must try DIY skincare recipe.

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cup
  • Digital Scale
  • Spatula
  • Beaker/Mixing Bowl
  • Storage Jar

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz Mango Butter
  • 1 oz Coconut Oil
  • 1 oz Avocado Oil
  • 2 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Gather all of the essential measuring tools, mixing bowls, and a sugar scrub container.
  • Using a digital scale, measure 4 ounces of mango butter, 1 ounce of coconut oil, and 1 ounce of avocado oil. Now, place all of the ingredients together in a heat-safe bowl.
  • Prepare a water bath over low heat and sit the heat-safe bowl from Step 2 into the water bath. Allow all of the ingredients to melt.
  • Remove the ingredients from the heat source, once they are melted. Then place the mixture in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes to let the mixture get firm.
  • Now that the mixture is firm, use a hand mixer with a wire whisk to break up the firm mixture. As you as whisking you should notice that the mixture starts to turn white and get fluffy. This could take 10 to 15 minutes of whisking (depending on the speed of your mixer).
  • The mixture should now appear like whipped frosting, if not keep whipping it up until it appears fluffy. Add the sugar to the mixture.
  • If you choose to add fragrance or essential oil, stir it in the mixture now.
  • Begin, adding the germall plus preservative to the mixture and stir.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container of your choice and ENJOY your new body scrub.
