  • 6 g Glycerin
  • 0.75 g Guar Gum
  • 9.75 g Shea Butter
  • 6 g BTMS 50
  • 3 g Cetearyl Alcohol

  • 1.5 g Essential Oil
  • 1.5 g Optiphen Preservative

Instructions

  • Measure out six tablespoons of cloves.
  • Using a mortar and pestle crush up the cloves to make a powder (you can certainly use the whole clothes pieces if you’d like).
  • Transfer the clove powder and pieces into an 8 zo jar and fill the jar 1/2 full of crushed cloves.
  • Fill up the 8 oz jar with olive oil so that the olive oil completely covers the cloves
  • Sit the oil and the herbs in a nice warm sunny place for two to four weeks or for quicker results you can use a crock pot and gently heat the oil for two to five hours.
  • After the oils and cloves infusion process is complete, using a cheese cloth strain the infused oil to separate the actual clove powder and pieces from the oil.
  • Measure 112.5 grams of distilled water in a heat-safe container.
  • In a separate container measure 6 grams of glycerine and 0.75 grams of guar gum and stir.
  • Pour the glycerine and guar gum into the distilled water and stir.
  • In a heat-safe container measure 9.75 grams of shea butter, 6 grams of BTMS 50, and 3 grams of Cetearyl alcohol, add the infused oil to this container as well.
  • Prepare a water bath and place both containers (the distilled water mix and the shea butter and emollient mix) into the water bath over low heat.
  • Once the butter, oil, and emollient mix is melted and the water is about the same temp remove from the heat source.
  • Pour the oils into the water and use a handheld whisk to mix the ingredients until the mixture becomes thicker (meaning it’s not watery any longer).
  • Add in 0.75 g of vitamin E.
  • Add 1.5 grams of rosemary essential oil and blend.
  • Add 1.5 grams of Optiphen plus preservative to the mixture and blend.
  • Pour conditioner into a 4 oz jar and use conditioner when ready.
